Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations to assess patient needs.
- Creating personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual.
- Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring function, enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and promoting independence and overall quality of life.
As a Physical Therapist, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that may consist of physicians, nurses, occupational and speech therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals. This teamwork ensures that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
You will also play a crucial role in educating patients and their families about:
- Home exercise programs.
- Safe mobility techniques.
- Strategies to prevent further injuries or health declines.
Documentation of patient progress and outcomes will be essential, adhering to both regulatory and organizational standards.
