Our well-established family dental practice, serving the community since 1976, is currently seeking a dedicated dental hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral hygiene treatments for patients of all ages on a part-time basis.
- Conduct comprehensive oral examinations, including screenings for oral cancer and periodontal disease.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide tailored oral health instructions.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) as required.
- Collaborate with the dental team to create individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Assist with dental procedures as needed, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.
- Adhere to infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technologies.
Requirements
- Active dental hygiene license in Oklahoma.
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in dental software and digital radiography.
- Commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
- Highly motivated and eager to learn and grow within the dental field.
