Location: New York, NY 10016
Duration: 6 Weeks
Shift: 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM
Pay Rate: $55–$60/hr

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care to pre- and post-surgical patients in a fast-paced clinical setting. The RN will assess patient needs, administer medications, perform clinical procedures, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

• Provide bedside care to pre- and post-operative patients

• Administer medications and perform IV therapy, wound care, and catheter insertion

• Monitor vital signs, telemetry, and report changes in condition

• Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery

• Assist with discharge planning and maintain accurate documentation

• Follow nursing standards, policies, and protocols

Requirements

• 2+ years Med/Surg experience (acute or post-acute); recent experience within 1 year

• Strong skills in physical assessment, medication administration, IV therapy, post-op care, wound care, and patient education

• Telemetry experience required

• EPIC EMR experience preferred

Education & Certifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (required)

• Active NY State RN License

• AHA BLS required

• AHA ACLS required for Queens assignments
