Location: Waimea, Hawaii
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Pay Rate: $2,200 - $2,800/Week (Based on Experience)
Shift: Days | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 40 Hours Weekly
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support outpatient clinic operations across multiple specialty areas. The ideal candidate will have previous clinic or outpatient experience and be comfortable providing high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
• Active Hawaii LPN/LVN License
• Current BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification Preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent outpatient or clinic nursing experience
• Experience in Family Practice, Behavioral Health, Internal Medicine, Women's Health, or Urgent Care preferred
• Experience with EMR systems; Cerner experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and float between clinic locations as needed
Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care within outpatient clinic settings
• Assist providers with patient assessments, examinations, and treatments
• Administer medications, injections, vaccinations, and treatments as ordered
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information
• Perform patient triage and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system
• Support multiple outpatient specialty departments as assigned
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements
