Project Manager – Landscape Installation
Location: North Myrtle Beach, SC
Salary: $50,000 – $65,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time
Hours may vary based on project needs and weather conditions
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and organized Project Manager to oversee landscape installation projects and support multiple field crews. This role is responsible for coordinating labor, materials, and schedules to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience managing multiple job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations for 1–4 landscape installation crews, including direct oversight of one crew
- Coordinate labor and project scheduling in partnership with the Construction Manager
- Ensure crews understand daily assignments, timelines, and expectations
- Monitor job sites to ensure quality standards, safety practices, and project specifications are met
- Order and track materials while maintaining budget awareness
- Forecast material needs in advance (irrigation, plants, trees, sod, etc.)
- Ensure crews have proper equipment and tools for each job
- Communicate professionally with clients, team members, and subcontractors
- Support training and development of crew members and leaders
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Help track and maintain equipment and vehicle usage
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in landscape installation, construction, or project management
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, plant materials, and reading blueprints/design plans
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Ability to work in outdoor environments for extended periods
