Position Overview
The Snow Plow Driver is responsible for operating trucks and heavy equipment to safely and efficiently remove snow and ice from parking lots, driveways, and roadways. This is a seasonal, on-call position that requires reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Youll be trusted to work independently and deliver consistent, high-quality results during snow events ensuring our customers properties remain safe and accessible.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate snow plows, salt spreaders, and related equipment to clear snow and ice from commercial and residential properties
- Apply salt or de-icing materials to prevent refreezing and maintain safety
- Inspect assigned areas for thorough completion and quality control
- Respond promptly to snow events, often during early mornings, late nights, or weekends
- Maintain and report equipment conditions and fill out simple job documentation
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional snow plowing experience (required)
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record (required)
- Reliable transportation to reach routes and job sites
- Ability to work independently and handle equipment safely
- Comfortable working long hours outdoors in cold, snowy, and icy conditions
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor when needed
