ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN | $25–$30/HR (UP TO $32) | FULL-TIME |

Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in building and troubleshooting complex systems? We’re partnering with a well-established, innovative engineering team in the Portland Metro area that is experiencing a surge in project demand and looking to add multiple Engineering Technicians to their team.
This is a project-based role where you’ll work on one assignment at a time, allowing you to stay focused, build expertise, and see projects through from start to finish. If you have electro-mechanical experience and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this could be a great fit.

JOB DETAILS
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly including cabling, soldering, wiring, and mechanical builds
- Assembly using hand tools and lab equipment
- Interpret mechanical drawings and layouts to complete assemblies
- Assist engineering teams with technical support and project completion
- Maintain clean, organized lab and workspaces
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies
- Work independently on tasks as well as collaboratively during key project phases
- Safely handle and move components using proper equipment when needed
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
- 1+ year of electro-mechanical assembly experience
- Experience using hand tools and basic lab equipment
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a solid work ethic
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
SCHEDULE:
- Monday – Friday
- Shift options available: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Temp-to-hire opportunity (initial 4–6 months with potential for extension)
- Multiple openings available with staggered start dates
- Pre-employment requirements include background check, drug screen, and in-person I-9/E-Verify processing (ITAR compliance)
