Location: Remote work, must live in or around the Triad area of NC:
About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and community-minded individuals to serve as Community Advisors for international high school exchange students. Community Advisors play a vital role in promoting cultural exchange by supervising exchange students and supporting their host families throughout the academic year. We’re looking for people who can place and supervise between 1 and 5 students (or more) per year.

Responsibilities:
· Recruit, interview, and screen host families in your community.
· Provide ongoing support and guidance to students and host families during the exchange year.
· Act as a liaison between students, host families, schools, and the exchange organization.
· Conduct orientations and monthly check-ins to ensure a successful exchange experience.
· Promote cultural exchange opportunities within your community.
Qualifications:
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to problem-solve and provide mentorship to teens and families.
· Knowledge of your local community and school systems.
· Flexible schedule to conduct student/family visits and maintain contact throughout the year.
· Prior experience in education, youth programs, or community work is a plus but not required.
