Job DescriptionHIRING FOR R&D ASSEMBLY TECHNICIANS! $30 - $36/HOUR!Job Description

The Clean Room Assembler will work closely with the R&D team to design and develop innovative products. This role involves developing and refining both R&D and production-level manufacturing work instructions, assisting in the design and construction of developmental components, sub-assemblies, and prototype devices, and recording observations of assembly processes and component performance. The assembler will also assist in the development of test methods, perform product testing, record data, and execute simple analyses, while communicating progress and learnings to teammates.


Essential Skills

  • Experience and/or training in using a microscope in assembly.
  • Knowledge of working with different types of class III implantable devices.
  • Experience working with active medical devices requiring laser welding/soldering.
  • Knowledge of common medical device materials of construction and manufacturing processes.
  • 3-5+ years of experience required, with at least 2 years of experience working with active implantable devices.
  • Strong technical ability with a focus on quality.
  • Ability to work well with teams.
  • Motivation and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and/or sensitive information.
  • Ability to be flexible and handle multiple projects in an organized, timely manner.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.

Work Environment

The company is a growing organization with a clean, state-of-the-art facility and break room. The work involves assembling IPG or pacemaker units, primarily under a microscope in a clean room environment. Employees should be flexible and able to work on various projects, including IPGs and catheters. The second shift runs from Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
