Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Special Education Teacher to support students from kindergarten through 6th grade. This role involves managing a caseload of 10-13 students and requires a dedicated professional with a New Mexico teaching license. The position is contracted through the end of the current school year, with an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with special needs across grades K-6.
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with families, staff, and administrators.
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to meet educational goals.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and team members.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Mexico teaching license for Special Education.
• Experience teaching special education students, preferably within K-6 grade levels.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Ability to manage a caseload of 10-13 students effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
