Civil Designer (Land Development)
Brand new opportunity for a Civil Designer with land development experience to join a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm specializing in civil, structural, and MEP engineering, with a strong reputation across Minnesota and the Midwest.
You will join a stable, growing, deeply rooted firm in private-sector development. With a strong backlog of healthcare, multifamily housing, retail, municipal, and K-12 education projects, this is a new opportunity to support continued expansion.
What You’ll Do
You’ll work primarily with private-sector clients, offering exposure to fast-paced, impactful site development work.
- Perform land development drafting and design using Civil 3D
- Develop site layouts, grading plans, utility plans, and stormwater systems
- Design roadways and pedestrian access systems
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to deliver coordinated design sets
- Contribute ideas to improve internal processes and workflows

Requirements:
- 3–10+ years of civil site design experience
- Strong proficiency in Civil 3D
- Experience with private side site development
- Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
- Minnesota-based and familiar with regional soils, drainage, and permitting processes a plus
- Experience with HydroCAD, Bluebeam, or Infraworks is a plus
