SUMMARY

Building upon the skills required for a Production Specialist I, the Production Specialist II will lead work centers, and complete more advanced tasks contributing to the efficiency and productivity of various production teams. This position demands a higher level of operational proficiency, and the ability to handle a wider range of tasks within the production department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Ensures performance and quality standards are consistently met, contributing to the production of top-quality signage, magnetic products, and printed products.

2. Adheres to the Standard Operating Procedures for handling and processing orders, contributing ideas for process improvement.

3. Exercises judgment in prioritizing work center tasks and reallocating resources to meet deadlines.

4. Takes an active role in coordinating small work center teams, prioritizing workloads and guiding Level I Production Specialists during the production of products.

5. Acts as a liaison between production team members, fostering communication and collaboration to meet production targets.

6. Maintains a proactive approach to inventory management and communicates supply needs effectively.

7. Assists in training and guiding Level I Production Specialists in work center operations and production processes.

8. Handles complex production tasks and assists in troubleshooting issues under the guidance of the Large Format and Small Format Production Managers.

9. Ensures products are prepared and shipped on time, maintaining high performance and quality of standards.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Demonstrated proficiency in operating complex manufacturing work centers.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to follow detailed processes and procedures.
• A team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
• Understanding of print production processes and lean manufacturing principles.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
