Lumbee Group is seeking a travel Pharmacist Level II for a travel job in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Pharmacist

Local or Travel position
Location: Santa Fe, NM 87505 (Primary duty station) and Espanola, NM 87532 (As needed)

Pay Rate: $65/hour + $43.22 Travel stipends
Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday or 9-hour shift; 8:00 to 6:00 pm (Santa Fe, NM)
  • 8-hour shift; 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday (Espanola, NM)

Contract Length: 1 year, with the option to extend

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to provide safe, accurate, and patient-centered pharmaceutical services in a clinical setting. This role supports both outpatient and inpatient populations and requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy (BS or PharmD required)
  • Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in any U.S. state, DC, or U.S. territory
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience providing similar pharmacy services
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or equivalent
  • Must carry own insurance.
  • Documentation of past employment and training history
  • Three (3) professional reference letters addressing reliability, stability, interpersonal skills, and suitability for working with children and adolescents.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, interpret, and dispense prescriptions with accuracy and clinical appropriateness
  • Calculate dosages, compound medications, and ensure therapeutic compatibility
  • Review patient medical records for allergies, interactions, and treatment appropriateness
  • Communicate with prescribers regarding discrepancies or clinical concerns
  • Counsel patients on proper medication use, storage, precautions, and side effects
  • Provide expertise on medications with narrow therapeutic ranges
  • Monitor medication storage conditions and inspect inventory for potency, expiration, and cleanliness
  • Maintain accurate documentation in patient health records
