Front Desk Receptionist – Pain Management Clinic

Overview
Join our growing pain management practice as a Front Desk Receptionist, where you will be the first point of contact for our patients. In this vital role, you will help create a welcoming, supportive environment while ensuring smooth daily operations. Although our practice continues to grow with the community, we remain committed to providing personalized, one-on-one care—treating every patient like family.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency
  • Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
  • Verify insurance, collect co-pays, and maintain accurate patient records
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
  • Maintain front office organization and ensure a smooth patient flow
  • Assist with patient intake forms and ensure all documentation is complete
  • Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff
  • Uphold HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous front desk or medical office experience preferred (pain management a plus)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) systems
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and medical scheduling processes
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach with a positive attitude
  • Attention to detail and reliability
