Rock River Roofing is seeking a pioneering Sales Manager to be the foundational leader of our sales team. We're a new company with ambitious goals, and this isn't a role where you just step into a pre-existing system. Instead, you'll be instrumental in building our sales department from the ground up, shaping its culture, processes, and future.

This unique opportunity is perfect for a driven individual with a proven track record in exterior sales, particularly in roofing, siding, windows, and gutters. While management experience is a plus, we're prioritizing someone who is a strategic and hands-on leader, capable of not only designing a robust sales process but also demonstrating its effectiveness by closing deals directly.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Pioneer the Sales Strategy: You'll be the architect of our sales division, responsible for designing and implementing our sales processes, from lead generation to deal closure. This includes creating sales materials, establishing best practices, and defining the standards for our future sales team.

  • Lead by Example: You'll be the first salesperson and manager rolled into one. Your ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets will set the benchmark for the entire team. You'll be responsible for your own pipeline, actively engaging with clients, and closing deals to drive initial revenue.

  • Recruit and Develop: As the company grows, you'll be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training new sales representatives. You'll mentor them, providing the guidance and support needed to replicate your success and build a high-performing team.

  • Establish Key Metrics: You'll define the key performance indicators (KPIs) that will measure our sales team's success. This includes setting individual and team goals, tracking performance, and analyzing data to make informed decisions and optimize our sales strategy.

  • Be a Key Stakeholder: As our company's first Sales Manager, you'll have a direct impact on our growth and direction. You'll work closely with leadership to align sales goals with business objectives and play a critical role in our long-term success.
