We are looking for a Sr. Finance Specialist to join our team in Lititz, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing diverse financial functions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with organizational standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to critical accounting processes and collaborate with senior team members to support financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounting systems for consortiums and cooperatives, including claims payments and cash transactions.
• Prepare and analyze monthly client invoices using carrier enrollment data.
• Record accounts receivable and process vendor payments in a timely manner.
• Provide support to senior finance specialists in analyzing data for stop loss and aggregate claim filings.
• Assist in the preparation of financial and aggregate reports to ensure accurate documentation.
• Perform reconciliation of accounts to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
• Handle general finance-related tasks as required by the department.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless billing and cash management processes.
• Utilize financial tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks, to optimize accounting workflows.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations in all financial activities.
• Proven expertise in account reconciliation and financial data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Proficiency in billing and invoice processing with high attention to detail.
• Strong skills in data entry and financial record management.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various departments.
• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
