A healthcare professional is needed to support flexible nursing coverage in either the Medical/Surgical unit or the Emergency Room based on departmental needs. Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current and active Registered Nurse license in the state of California
- Mandatory certifications: ACLS, PALS, CPR; TNCC certification required within one year of hire
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across all organizational levels
- Commitment to confidentiality, respectfulness, reliability, and accountability
- Must wear Caribbean Blue scrubs in accordance with facility requirements
- Completion of Sexual Harassment Prevention Training annually as per California regulations
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in Med/Surg or Emergency Room settings as assigned
- Perform patient assessments, implement care plans, and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility policies and state regulations
- Uphold patient confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times
