Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology
Location: Hackensack, New Jersey
Job Type: Contract

Assignment Details

  • Duration: 13 Weeks (with possibility of extension)

  • Schedule: 4 × 10-Hour Shifts

  • Shift Time: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Compensation

  • Local Rate: $2,100 – $2,300 per week (based on experience)

  • Travel Rate: $2,600 – $2,800 per week (based on experience)

Position Summary

A healthcare facility in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology for a contract assignment. The RN will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care using evidence-based practices while supporting interventional radiology procedures and patient recovery.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based nursing care in accordance with established clinical standards and policies

  • Maintain ongoing communication with patients, nursing staff, and healthcare team members regarding patient status and treatment plans

  • Administer medications using bar-code scanning and electronic documentation systems to ensure safe medication delivery

  • Complete point-of-care electronic documentation, including patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and evaluations

  • Provide patient and family education focused on health management, wellness, and disease prevention

  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to support safe discharge planning and continuity of care

  • Monitor patient condition before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 6 months of relevant nursing experience

  • Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Education Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited program

Required Certifications & Licensure

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – New Jersey or Multi-State Compact License

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through the American Heart Association
