Emerging Tech is seeking skilled Radiologic Technologists to deliver hands-on diagnostic imaging services across multiple VA Northern California locations. These critical roles ensure Veterans receive timely, accurate, and high-quality care while supporting a busy, mission-driven radiology operation.
You’ll work under the guidance of VA Radiologists and clinical leadership, performing imaging in inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and procedural settings. This is your chance to contribute to a team that values precision, collaboration, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in assigned modalities following VA, ARRT, and Joint Commission standards.
- Prepare, position, and assess patients to ensure safe, accurate, and comfortable exams.
- Operate imaging equipment per manufacturer specifications and VA-approved protocols (experience with GE systems preferred).
- Follow radiation safety, infection control, and modality-specific safety requirements.
- Verify image quality and completeness before submission for Radiologist review.
- Document exams, patient interactions, and technical data in VA electronic health records and PACS systems (Philips IntelliSpace PACS experience preferred).
- Maintain clean, safe, and fully prepared imaging rooms and equipment.
- Collaborate with Radiologists, providers, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Support imaging coverage during high-volume periods, emergent requests, on-call coverage, and staffing shortages.
- Communicate urgent findings to Radiologists as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (JRCERT or equivalent).
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography; additional ARRT or ARDMS certification required for specialty modalities (CT, MRI, Ultrasound).
- Full, current, and unrestricted California state license.
- Minimum 3 years of post-training experience performing independent imaging procedures in a hospital or medical center.
- Proficiency with PACS, DICOM, and electronic medical record systems.
- Fluent in English (read, write, and speak).
- Must meet all VA credentialing, onboarding, privacy, and annual training requirements.
Additional Requirements
- Personnel qualifications subject to VA Chief Radiology Administrator review and approval.
- Compliance with all VA imaging standards, radiology protocols, safety policies, and infection control procedures.
- Maintain required CME/CEU credits to remain current.
