Healthy Living Primary Care is a physician-owned, team-based primary care practice with a strong focus on integrated behavioral health. We serve patients in California through telemedicine and on-site care, offering both direct psychiatric services and collaborative care support.

We provide an AI-enabled EMR with scribe support and full administrative assistance (scheduling, billing, patient communication, prior auths), so you can focus on patient care.

Position Overview

We are seeking a part-time psychiatrist to join our team with the potential to grow into a larger role. This is a remote position with flexible scheduling.

• Start: 1 day per week
• Clinical Care: ~6 hours of direct outpatient psychiatric visits
• New patients: 60-minute evaluations
• Follow-ups: 30-minute visits (medication management + supportive psychotherapy)
• Typical day = ~810 visits
• CoCM Support: 1 hour per week of collaborative case review with therapists
• Future Growth: Opportunity to expand to more clinic days as the psychiatrist builds their patient panel

Compensation

• Direct patient care: $180$200 per clinical hour (~$1,100$1,200 per clinic day)
• CoCM supervision: $175$200 per hour (1 hour/week = ~$720$800 per month)
• Total (starting schedule): ~$5,300/month (~$69,000/year for 1 day/week + CoCM)
• Additional days available as panel grows

Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) Role

• Weekly review of ~30 patients in caseload meetings with therapists
• Focus on new cases and patients not improving; stable patients require minimal input
• Documentation completed by therapists psychiatrist provides verbal recommendations and co-signs
• Efficient and structured: ~1 hour/week commitment

Requirements

• MD/DO, Board-Certified Psychiatrist
• Licensed and experienced in California
• Comfortable with telemedicine and EMR documentation
• Interest in collaborative, team-based care
• Experience with primary care/medical patients preferred
