Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school in Peachtree Corners, GA is seeking a Special Education Teacher to work with middle school students for the current school year under a contract arrangement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education required
- Valid SPED certification in Arizona
- IVP fingerprint card for clearance
- Certification in mild/moderate or cross-categorical special education
Location:
- Middle school setting in Peachtree Corners, GA
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for middle school students with special needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and guardians
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
