This opportunity is tailored for talented Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), including those holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or pursuing their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY), who are passionate about fostering communication skills among children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students presenting with speech, language, or communication challenges
- Design, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Provide engaging therapy sessions aimed at achieving targeted speech and language outcomes
- Thoroughly monitor, document, and report on student progress
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and other professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Actively involve and educate families to support therapy goals at home and in the community
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required
- Experience with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work both autonomously and within a collaborative educational team
