Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pain Management Nurse Practitioner to join an established office-based practice in California. This opportunity is open to candidates with varying levels of experience, offering a supportive environment focused on high-quality patient care and efficient clinical workflows.
The Nurse Practitioner will evaluate and manage adult patients with acute and chronic pain conditions, perform interventional procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive pain management solutions. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, clinically confident, and comfortable managing a moderate-to-high daily caseload.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations.

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions.

Perform interventional pain procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, and botulinum toxin treatments.

Utilize diagnostic imaging, including CT scans and radiology reports, to support clinical decision-making.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.

Manage a daily caseload of approximately 20-30 adult patients.

Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including neurology, orthopedics, psychiatry, and other specialists.

Manage both outpatient and office-based pain cases with a focus on patient safety and outcomes.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems (e.g., Epic) in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Stay current with evidence-based practices and advancements in pain management.
Qualifications & Experience:

Nurse Practitioner degree from an accredited program.

Active Nurse Practitioner license (must be issued prior to start; licensure pending not accepted).

Minimal prior pain management experience required.

Experience with interventional procedures preferred but not mandatory.

Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic preferred.

Strong communication, clinical judgment, and patient management skills.

Ability to work independently in an office-based setting.
