CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company, provides occupational medical services nationwide. We are seeking highly motivated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and Paramedics with strong clinical, computer, and multitasking skills to join our team.
As a CAREonsite EMT/Paramedic, you will play a vital role in ensuring workers' health and safety by providing basic first aid and life-saving medical care. This position offers a dynamic mix of clinical and fieldwork, where you may work as part of a team or independently.
Schedule & Pay:
- Schedule: Per Diem. (Site operates 24/7, Shifts are 0600-1800 and 1800-0600)
- Pay Range: $25-$30 an hour, depending on experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Respond quickly and effectively to on-site medical emergencies.
- Provide first aid and medical care in compliance with federal, state, local, and company policies.
- Assess injuries and illnesses to determine the necessary course of action.
- Communicate effectively with medical professionals and treatment facilities for further instructions.
- Engage with clients and site personnel regarding workplace incidents and potential hazards.
- Stay aware of the constantly changing worksite environment to identify and mitigate risks.
- Maintain high clinical standards and ensure all care provided meets quality guidelines.
- Accurately document all patient assessments and treatments.
- Assist Site Safety Managers in promoting a safe and secure work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active EMT or Paramedic license in the applicable state.
- Current BLS certification.
- At least 2 years of experience in an emergency setting (e.g., ER department or 911 ambulance service).
- 911 experience is required.
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Requirements (Manager to Complete):
Requires solid Microsoft computer skills; strong communication with the Site and off-site managers; CPR instructor certification is a plus!
Flexible Schedule, Per Diem (as needed)
