Job Description:
We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Barista/Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate has a flexible schedule, a strong work ethic, and is passionate about creating a great experience for every customer. Experience with coffee and boba is a big plus!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality coffee, espresso, boba drinks, smoothies, and teas
- Handle and serve pastries, cakes, and fried foods
- Cut and prepare fresh fruit daily, sometimes multiple times a day
- Thoroughly clean all areas of the café during opening, throughout the day, and closing
- Follow and complete all cleaning and restocking checklists with attention to detail
- Restock supplies, cut and prepare desserts, assist with baking and prep tasks
- Water plants and maintain cleanliness outside the store (e.g., picking up trash)
- Operate the espresso machine and other kitchen equipment properly and safely
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service at the register
- Handle transactions accurately and responsibly
- Take inventory and report low stock items
- Uphold café standards of honesty, integrity, and responsibility
Requirements:
- Prior and boba preparation
- Must be available for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent cleaning habits and attention to hygiene and sanitation
- Strong sense of responsibility and accountability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
