A healthcare opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in ICU nursing to provide critical patient care in a hospital setting. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver nursing care to patients in the intensive care unit.
- Apply current clinical knowledge and skills relevant to patient demographics.
- Maintain compliance with unit standards and organizational policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency and crisis situations.
- Manage physical demands of patient care including lifting, positioning, and transferring patients.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state license.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and TNCC (via AHA).
- Proficient with EMR software such as EPIC.
- Excellent communication skills and sensitivity to patient rights.
Additional Information:
- Night shift hours: 7 PM to 7 AM.
- Floating between units may be required.
- Work environment includes exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious materials.
- Physical stamina to perform prolonged standing and patient care duties.
