Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time contract opportunity is based in Hobbs, NM, serving K-12 students in a school setting. The position requires a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with credentials for New Mexico and experience working in schools. The role is critical in supporting the communication development of students across all grade levels.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico SLP License required
- Experience as a School SLP or SLPA preferred
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) a plus
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse K-12 student population
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
- Support students in achieving their communication goals within the school environment

- Contract Duration: Current School Year (CSY), starting ASAP through May 22nd, 2026
- Schedule: Full time, 5 days per week
- Compensation: $47 per hour, paid weekly
