Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract opportunity is based in Hobbs, NM, serving K-12 students in a school setting. The position requires a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with credentials for New Mexico and experience working in schools. The role is critical in supporting the communication development of students across all grade levels.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New Mexico SLP License required
  • Experience as a School SLP or SLPA preferred
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) a plus
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse K-12 student population

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Support students in achieving their communication goals within the school environment

Job Details:

  • Location: Hobbs, NM
  • Position: K-12 School Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Contract Duration: Current School Year (CSY), starting ASAP through May 22nd, 2026
  • Schedule: Full time, 5 days per week
  • Compensation: $47 per hour, paid weekly
