Part-Time Paraprofessional Opportunity Hollis, NH
Two part-time paraprofessional positions are available at a primary school serving preschool students in Hollis, New Hampshire. These roles focus on supporting both intensive needs and general education preschool classrooms. Candidates with a background in applied behavior analysis (ABA) or similar behavioral experience are strongly preferred. This is a contract position running through June 17, 2026, with work hours Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 2:50 PM (26 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in classroom activities for preschool students with diverse learning needs
- Support implementation of behavioral strategies in collaboration with teaching staff
- Adapt to classroom changes and different educational settings as needed
- Provide direct support to students with special education needs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Previous behavioral-based experience in a school setting as a paraprofessional
- ABA training or comparable experience working with preschoolers
- Comfortable working with the special education (SPED) population
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Ability to pass district fingerprinting and onboarding requirements
- Flexibility to accommodate classroom rearrangements if necessary
- Minimum of one completed professional reference prior to candidate submission
