Job DescriptionLicensed Massage Therapist, LMT - Occupational Medicine
Full-time/ Part-time or PRN $35 - $55/Hr.
Position Summary: The Massage Therapist provides therapeutic massage services to support recovery from work-related injuries, reduce pain, improve circulation, and enhance functional outcomes. This role works under the direction of providers and in collaboration with the rehabilitation team to support safe, effective return-to-work outcomes.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic massage treatments tailored to patient conditions and treatment plans
- Perform assessments of muscle tension, range of motion, and pain areas
- Apply techniques such as deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and relaxation massage
- Support rehabilitation plans in coordination with physical and occupational therapists
- Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately in the EHR
- Monitor patient tolerance and adjust techniques as needed
- Educate patients on stretching, posture, and self-care techniques
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment
- Ensure proper sanitation and infection control practices
- Communicate with providers and clinical team regarding patient progress or concerns
- Adhere to clinic policies, scope of practice, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications, Education, and Experience
- Completion of accredited massage therapy program
- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience preferred
- Experience working with injury rehabilitation or occupational health patients preferred
- Active Massage Therapy license/certification in good standing
- Experience in clinical, rehabilitation, or medical massage preferred
- Familiarity with EHR documentation systems preferred
- Knowledge of contraindications and safety precautions
