Temporary Move Theater Associates needed at the Air & Space Museum’s IMAX Theater on the National Mall in Washington DC. The Smithsonian’s National Air & Space Museum is undergoing an incredible renovation! Have fun, work in an awesome and newly renovated museum location, and be a part of this exciting time in the Smithsonian Institution’s 175 + year history!
We’re looking for experienced and friendly temporary IMAX Theater Associates to deliver excellent customer service during the busy Summer and Fall seasons. Qualified candidates will have at least 6 months of retail or movie theater experience including:
- Cash Handling
- Ticket/Concession Sales
- Loss Prevention
- Crowd Control
- Facilities Maintenance
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
Candidates must be available Nights, Weekends and Holidays – no exceptions!

We offer a competitive hourly wage, a commuter subsidy to help pay for commuting costs, and a terrific work environment. IMAX Theater Associates start at $17.50 per hour!
Final candidate selection will be subject to the applicant’s successful completion of a pre-employment background check and subsequent background investigation for a position designated as Low Risk. Our Theater team works late nights, stands for long periods of time, walks on sloping and irregular terrain, and sometimes lift up to 25 lbs.
