Job Description
We are currently partnering with a global financial institution that is looking to add a Sanctions Compliance Officer to its Financial Crimes Compliance team.
This role sits within the Bank’s second-line compliance function and is responsible for supporting and enhancing the institution’s sanctions compliance program. The position focuses on sanctions screening, investigations, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring the effective identification, escalation, and resolution of sanctions-related matters
.
Responsibilities include reviewing potential sanctions matches and alerts, assessing potential violations, supporting sanctions-related reporting obligations, maintaining policies and procedures, and providing guidance on OFAC and global sanctions requirements. The individual will also partner closely with Compliance, Operations, Risk, Technology, and business stakeholders to strengthen controls, support regulatory examinations and audits, deliver training, and assist with ongoing program enhancement

This position is based in White Plains, NY and operates on a hybrid schedule. Spanish language proficiency is requir
