Position Summary:
Classic Floors is seeking a reliable and motivated Installer’s Helper to assist our lead installers with the installation of shower doors, mirrors, shelving, and bath accessories. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in the trades, with hands-on learning and room for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead installer in loading/unloading tools and materials.
- Help set up and prepare job sites for installations.
- Support with handling and positioning of shower doors, mirrors, and shelving.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Hand tools and materials to installers and assist with measurements and adjustments.
- Learn proper installation techniques and safety procedures on the job.
- Follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with clients and coworkers.
Requirements:
- Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines.
- Good work ethic and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy glass and materials (up to 175 lbs).
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Preferred (Not Required):
- Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or general labor.
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
