COMMERCIAL SNOW REMOVAL CREW - Shovelers
It's never too early to start preparing for the winter season! That's why we are now seeking dependable candidates join our Winter Operations Team as a shoveler.
This is an ON CALL/SEASONAL POSITION
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Clearing Snow/Ice from sidewalks, business entrances, walkways, etc
- Applying Ice Melt Chemicals in designated areas
- Clearing Snow and Ice safely and efficiently at designated Commercial Site
- Thoroughly complete snow removal service based on Client Specifications
- Reporting any concerns or incidents to your direct Supervisor
- Maintaining a safe and secure work environment for team employees and clients by adhering to company safety policies
- Being aware of safety issues or concerns, and report them to the appropriate Supervisor
- Performing other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work long hours during snow events, including nights, days, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Must be available when Snow and/or Ice is forecasted and within 48 hours after a storm for clean up
- Must have reliable transportation to/from assigned site
- Must be dependable
- Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions and for extended periods of time
Benefits:
- Paid weekly by direct deposit
- Pay increase based on performance and length of service (after first season)
- Potential for pay increase with proven experience of running job site

Location(s): Tewksbury, Wilmington, Andover, North Andover, Billerica, Lowell and Surrounding Areas
Shovelers: $25.00 - $28.00 an hour
Up to $30.00 hourly with experience running job sites
