Remote 1099 SLP South Dakota (IEP and Compliance Specialist)

Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented SLP with a strong background in special education compliance. You will support virtual assessments and service delivery while ensuring adherence to South Dakotas IDEA guidelines and district-specific procedures.

Duties:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and write legally defensible reports.

• Draft compliant IEPs in collaboration with district teams.

• Attend eligibility and review meetings virtually.

• Ensure documentation meets state timelines and standards.

• Serve as an expert consultant on state and federal speech-language requirements.

• Train staff on documentation best practices.

VOCOVISION Requirements

Must have a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology, or Communication Science's and disorders

Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance

Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)

Home computer with high internet speed

Passed basic tech screening

Interview Process:

• 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
• 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
• Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
