Utilizing the nursing process, you will deliver patient care under the guidance of licensed professionals authorized by state regulations to prescribe treatments and medications, or under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). You will maintain accountability for the care provided to your assigned patients and coordinate their care in collaboration with various departments. Upholding patient rights and ensuring the confidentiality of their information is paramount.

The Medical A floor at our facility is a dynamic 30-bed unit catering to patients of all ages. Many individuals here are dealing with chronic illnesses that necessitate comprehensive, multidisciplinary treatment plans and objectives. As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will educate patients on a variety of subjects, from surgical expectations to post-discharge medication regimens. If you are a compassionate, team-oriented, hardworking individual who enjoys caring for diverse populations, this unit offers a fulfilling opportunity to enhance your clinical expertise and skills.
Qualifications:
- Education Required: Practical Nursing Degree from an accredited institution
- Licensure: Current LPN license in our state or the ability to obtain it within 90 days
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association; IV Certification within one year
