Duties

• Support lead teachers in implementing daily tasks that promote childhood development and early learning skills
• Assist with supervising children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety and engagement
• Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies
• Support classroom organization by maintaining organization and cleanliness

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
• Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
• Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills and patience for working with diverse groups of children
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods in a busy childcare environment
• Pay $16 an hr, 5 paid Closed Holidays.
