Role Overview
AxEnd is ramping up, and we need a high-energy Sales Associate to join our lean commercial team. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new distribution partners and large-scale enterprise customers for our cutting-edge radar and RF sensing technology.
Because we are in a rapid-growth phase, you won't just be "selling"—you will be managing our "Try-and-Buy" pilot programs, collecting critical customer feedback to help our engineering team refine our products, and helping us establish a foothold in the security, healthcare, and surveillance markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Market Expansion
- Target Mapping: Identify and research potential distribution partners (security integrators, medical device distributors, and industrial suppliers) and high-value direct customers.
- Outbound Outreach: Execute multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone) to secure introductory meetings for the Director of Sales.
- Inbound Qualification: Rapidly respond to and qualify leads coming through the AxEnd website and industry trade shows.
2. Pilot Program Management (The Feedback Loop)
- Trial Oversight: Coordinate the shipment and setup of "Beta" or trial units for customers testing our mmWave sensors or perimeter radars.
- Voice of Customer (VOC): Systematically interview trial users to gather feedback on product performance, UI/UX, and pain points.
- Engineering Liaison: Translate customer needs into actionable feedback for the Redondo Beach-based engineering team.
3. Distribution Support
- Channel Onboarding: Assist the Director of Sales in creating onboarding materials, training decks, and technical data sheets for new distribution partners.
- Sales Collateral: Help maintain and update our product catalogs and case studies to reflect new use cases discovered during the ramp-up.
4. CRM & Pipeline Hygiene
- Data Integrity: Manage the CRM to ensure the Director of Sales has an accurate view of the pipeline, trial statuses, and follow-up tasks.
- Reporting: Provide weekly updates on outreach metrics and pilot program milestones.
5. Tradeshow
- Participation, company representation, lead follow-ups

Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: BS/BA in Business, Communications, or a Technical field (Engineering/Physics background is a massive plus).
- Experience: 1–3 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in a B2B hardware, IoT, or sensing technology environment.
- Technical Aptitude: You don't need to be an RF engineer, but you must be able to explain the difference between 24GHz and 60GHz radar and why "contactless sensing" is a game-changer.
- The Startup "Hustle": You are comfortable with a "two-person sales team" dynamic. You take initiative, solve your own problems, and are willing to wear multiple hats.
- Local Presence: Ability to work from our Redondo Beach office to collaborate closely with the Director of Sales and Engineering.
