Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dedicated professional with expertise in speech-language pathology is sought to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting. This role is crucial in supporting students with communication disorders, ensuring that each child receives the guidance and support they need to succeed academically and socially.

Qualifications:

  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • Previous experience working with children in a school setting
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with IEPs and the special education process

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
  • Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language intervention
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and compliance training
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
