WWC Global, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is currently seeking Exercise Planners to support United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM). This position will support USINDOPACOM and its mission partners with the organizational resources necessary to identify, analyze, and eliminate capability gaps so that USINDOPACOM can maintain a competitive edge and meet the U.S. National Defense Strategy (NDS) and National Military Strategy (NMS) objectives.

The Exercise Planner develops exercise options based on unit availability, training requirements, and exercise objectives; develops and briefs exercise options to senior client leaders; works with outside organizations and subordinate units during mission analysis; finalizes exercise planning by providing concept of operations and writing exercise orders; collects data and develops after action reports and builds after action briefings for senior client leaders; utilizes existing resources to develop exercises of Joint and Combined training events; plans, analyzes, designs, and provides recommendations on matters related to bilateral training events and large-scale multinational exercises for INDOPACOM and related partners.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Determining how to use INDOPACOM’s capabilities to achieve long-term objectives while considering the associated risks.
  • Providing comprehensive training services to enhance the operational readiness and effectiveness of the US military, civilian personnel and foreign partners associated with INDOPACOM.
  • Assisting with the design and delivery of Command Post Exercises, Field Training Exercises, and Table Top Exercises.
  • Coordinating with allied and partner nations to strengthen alliances, enhance interoperability, and promote regional security cooperation.
  • Assisting with facilitation of bilateral training events and large-scale multinational exercises involving multiple countries.
  • Planning, developing, and executing exercises in coordination with supported elements and partner nations in accordance with the Joint Event Life Cycle and relevant Joint Doctrine.

This position is contingent on contract modification and funding.

Expected salary range: $90,000 - $135,000

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle in environments including city, highway, and rural roads CONUS and OCONUS.

Travel:

  • 21-49% / Regular travel.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree and 10 years relevant experience // OR // Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of relevant experience // OR // 16 years of relevant experience with no degree.
  • Current, active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
  • 4-10 years of experience in strategic planning and coordinating military exercises.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Valid driver’s license (proof of which will be required after hire) and ability to qualify for and maintain company liability insurance through a clean driving record.
  • Must possess a valid unexpired U.S. Passport.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. WWC Global will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree.
  • Current, active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Direct experience with exercise planning within the INDOPACOM AOR.
  • Experience on a O-7+ level staff, Combatant or Functional Command headquarters, Joint Force Headquarters, Service Component, or Major Command Headquarters.
