Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound studies, including echocardiograms and carotid imaging, for physician interpretation
- Utilize advanced sonographic skills to identify, document, and adapt imaging based on anatomical and pathological findings
- Prepare preliminary sonographer reports for each completed exam
- Communicate critical findings promptly to the physician when necessary
- Maintain accurate daily patient logs and complete exam billing documentation
- Greet patients, collect relevant medical history, and ensure a positive patient experience
- Maintain ultrasound equipment, ensure proper functionality, and manage supply inventory

Participate in continuing education, in-service training, and departmental meetings to stay current with best practices
Qualifications:
- Registered or registry-eligible Cardiovascular Sonographer (RDCS, RCS, or equivalent preferred)
- Experience with echocardiography and vascular (carotid) imaging
- Strong clinical, technical, and communication skills
