East Coast Gastroenterology and Endoscopy is actively seeking a motivated Physician Assistant, to join our practice. The schedule is flexible. We are a seeking a well-rounded team-player with a winning attitude that is organized, energetic, efficient, and able to provide exceptional customer service to our patients. We require you to be eager to learn, friendly, a self-starter with the motivation to give attention to detail on a daily basis. Gastroenterology experience required.

Excellent schedule • No call responsibility Requirements: • Graduate of an accredited program for Physician Assistants • Current state license • Current DEA license

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Gastroenterology
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
