Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Canarsie, Brooklyn, NY
Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Classification: Exempt
Salary Range: $95,000 – $105,000 annually
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Canarsie location. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a supportive outpatient setting.
Both new graduates and experienced Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply. Immediate availability preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
- Administer manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises
- Guide patients in functional mobility and daily-living activities
- Utilize therapeutic modalities including traction, electrical muscle stimulation, hot/cold therapy, massage, and ultrasound
- Monitor and document patient progress in the EHR system
- Modify treatment plans based on patient outcomes
- Develop home exercise programs to ensure continued recovery
- Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Supervise and direct therapy aides and assistants as needed
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in New York State
- Valid NY State PT license and registration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for patient recovery and mobility improvement
- Experience in outpatient musculoskeletal or injury rehabilitation preferred
