As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support New Product Introductions (NPIs) and facilitate technical transfer activities into manufacturing. You will play a crucial role in system-related projects, document updates, and validation support, contributing to the success of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with system-related projects and update documentation to support manufacturing processes.
- Author and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and other essential manufacturing documentation.
- Support change control activities, including managing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Track project tasks, action items, and timelines to ensure timely execution.
- Analyze production or system data using Excel or similar tools to support issue resolution and process improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address technical or process-related issues.
- Ensure all work aligns with site quality systems and documentation requirements.
Essential Skills
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and validation processes.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ability to support New Product Introductions (NPIs) and technical transfer activities.
- Proficiency in authoring and revising SOPs, work instructions, and other manufacturing documentation.
- Experience in managing change control activities, including Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Design Transfer.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Exposure to NPI or tech transfer activities.
- Experience working in a regulated or quality-driven environment.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems or manufacturing software tools.
- Experience supporting system implementations or upgrades.

This is a Contract position based out of Sunnyvale, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $44.00/hr.
