In this role, you’ll be an integral part of the classroom, partnering with teachers to deliver academic and social-emotional support. Your efforts will help foster an inclusive atmosphere where every student can thrive and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Classroom Support: Work directly with teachers to facilitate daily instruction, small group activities, and individualized assistance.
- Student Assistance: Offer academic guidance, behavioral reinforcement, and emotional support tailored to each student’s needs.
- Instructional Preparation: Prepare learning materials, help organize classroom activities, and assist in reinforcing lesson plans.
- Supervision Duties: Monitor students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other non-instructional times to ensure a safe and positive environment.
- Collaboration: Engage with a multidisciplinary team committed to student success.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of at least 48 college semester units or an Associate’s degree (AA/AS)
- Successful passage of background and fingerprint clearance
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine student-focused attitude
