This is a full-time position performing general administrative and clerical duties while assisting in various tasks as assigned. The position reports to the Office Manager. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.
Duties
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Word processing duties include letters to visitors, printing labels and assisting with mail-outs, maintaining logs and phone lists.
· Facilitate document revision process including tracking, directing and retaining copies of correspondence, proof-reading and formatting, and issuing electronic and hard copies of procedures.
· Assist with various other document revisions.
· Tracking and updating data in Excel spreadsheets.
· Scanning, filing, and electronically archiving documents, including creating new paper files and computer files.
· Perform quality control reviews of archived documents and files.
· Maintain confidentiality in managing employee files.
· Various office duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· Proficient with office equipment such as copier / printer / scanner.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
· Ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing or sitting during extended periods of time.
· Professionalism and attention to detail is a must.
· Ability to assess time –vs– task to prioritize tasks requested.
· Ability to request assistance if priorities are not clear and deadlines appear to be at risk.
· Maintain focus on task at hand while working in area that others frequently enter.
· Ability to work around others while sharing equipment and/or work space.
Working Conditions
Job location is an office-type environment and position will require standing and sitting at a computer for extended periods of time in a busy environment. Occasional squatting and lifting of boxes are also necessary.
