Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Quick Books, Payroll, A/P, A/R. Basic data entry and invoicing customers along with accounts payable.
Duties
- The ideal candidate will be organized and familiar or proficient with Quick Books. We are looking to hire a part time book keeper. Tasks will primarily be accounts payable, accounts receivable, state tax paperwork and some permit application work. We are willing to train the correct person. We are a small company with a laid back environment and flexible hours.
- Payroll
- Filing permit applications and procuring permits from city governing bodies.
- A/P and A/R. Taxes and 941's.
- Managing invoicing and accounts receivable
- Handle and organize records for current and past projects
- Assist with general office management tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.

Qualifications:
-High school diploma; associate's degree or bachelor degree in business or related field preferred but not required
-Previous experience handling office responsibilities or experience in customer service preferred but not required, willing to train the right person.
-Proficient computer skills, and experience with Intuit Quickbooks invoicing software.
-Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
-Budgeting experience is a plus
-Familiarity with the permit procurement process is a plus

Experience
- Proven experience in an office assistant role or similar position within an accounting environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, including double entry bookkeeping and account analysis.
- Experience with bank reconciliation processes is beneficial.
