Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Assistant to join our dynamic team and support various production activities. This role is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a desire to grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly, inspection, and production of PCBs and SMT components.
- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment such as Pick and Place machines, AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), Reflow Ovens, and Wave Soldering machines.
- Support quality control by inspecting products for defects and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Perform material handling tasks, including organizing, labeling, and transporting components.
- Assist in setting up and calibrating machinery for production runs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively with the production team.
- Support inventory tracking and replenishment of raw materials as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or electronics assembly environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) processes is a plus.
- Basic understanding of electronic components and manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions, diagrams, and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
