We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and nurturing customer relationships, accurately verifying inquiries, and providing technical expertise to recommend the best solutions. This role requires strong technical knowledge of transformers combined with excellent communication and sales skills.
Requirements:
DUTIES:
- Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries related to our products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to understand their technical and commercial requirements.
- Analyze customer inquiries to verify technical feasibility and alignment with company offerings.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to propose tailored technical solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
- Negotiate commercial terms in coordination with the sales and management team to close sales effectively.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer visits as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in sales engineering or technical sales, preferably within the transformer or electrical industry.
- Strong understanding of transformer design, function, and applications.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and inquiries efficiently.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Experience working with industrial, renewable, and utility customers is preferred.
- Familiarity with international standards and certifications applicable to transformers is preferred.
- Multilingual skills, especially English and Spanish, are advantageous.
