What you will be doing as the Healthcare Surgery Scheduler:

• Main point of contact for all patients, patient facing.
• Assist patients with scheduling pre-surgical appointments.
• Work within EPIC to research treatment plan and schedule patient based on physician order and enter codes.
• Exemplify customer service while ensuring each patient interaction is handled with care.
• Coordinate patient check in.
• Schedule for follow up appointments.
• Answer phones.
• Take insurance.
• Assist in managing the inbox, and supporting the nurse through scheduling appointments.
• They will follow up with patient.

What you will need as the Healthcare Surgery Scheduler:

• High School Diploma or GED
• EPIC Scheduling experience is required
• 6 months+ of healthcare experience
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
