Job Description:
Position Overview: Conduct assurance and consulting audit activities to improve risk management, controls, compliance, and governance processes across healthcare and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute independent audit engagements while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
• Perform audit planning, risk assessments, and develop comprehensive audit programs
• Evaluate policies, procedures, and controls for efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance
• Document findings, conduct root cause analysis, and prepare detailed audit reports
• Present results to stakeholders and serve as advisor during remediation planning
• Manage follow-up activities and test management action plans
• Conduct interviews and build positive relationships with auditees
• Pursue continuous professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience combination
• 3+ years of auditing, accounting, or finance experience
• Knowledge of internal auditing practices and professional standards
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
• Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration degree
• 2-4 years internal audit experience in healthcare, corporate, or IT environments
• Professional certification (CIA, CPA)
• Advanced degree (MBA, Master of Accountancy)
• Data analytics and automated audit software experience
